Our mission
Holter Intellectual Property, Inc. (HIP INC) is a creative 501(c)(3) nonprofit that puts stories to work for people and communities. Our mission is to advance narrative justice, creative empowerment, and community opportunity through publishing, original storyworlds, narrative technology, theatrical edutainment, and curriculum development.
As the home of Voices of Foster Care, we center the dignity and agency of youth and adults with lived foster-care experience. Through Coffy Books, Coffy Town, the HIP Soul Festival Workshop, and community-centered learning initiatives, we connect artistic expression with practical skills, belonging, and pathways toward a more self-directed future.
